The Story
The name comes from the Indonesian 'kayu putih', meaning 'white wood', after the tree's papery white bark. Cajeput trees grow up to 30 m tall across Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam and Australia, with white, pink and purple flowers. They are close relatives of tea tree and eucalyptus.
