Description
The Story
Amber resin hardened and fossilised more than 40 million years ago, yet it still holds terpenes and hydrocarbons much like those in living plant oils. The oil is produced by dry distillation: the amber is heated to around 350°C without oxygen until it melts into a dark, thick oil with a smoky, resinous, woody aroma.
