Description
The Story
In Eastern herbal tradition, skincare is less about covering up and more about balance. Our Oriental Botanica range follows three steps: awaken (Astragalus Vital Hydrating Toner), nourish (Reishi Nourishing Essence) and fortify. This cream is the final step: not a heavy seal, but a steady, comforting layer that helps skin hold on to what it needs.
Key Ingredients
- Ginseng Root Extract (20%) — The classic Eastern 'vitality' herb; helps skin look less tired and more radiant.
- Reishi Ferment Filtrate — Antioxidant-rich; helps mature and sensitive skin feel calmer and more resilient to everyday stress.
- Tremella (Snow Fungus) Ferment Filtrate — A plant-based moisture magnet that leaves skin plump, soft and dewy.
- Bifida Ferment, Squalane & Hydrolysed Collagen — Support the skin barrier, replenish lipids and keep skin feeling firm and springy.
- Astaxanthin — A powerful antioxidant that helps defend against the look of dullness from daily environmental exposure.
- Plant Oils & Butters — Jojoba, rosehip, shea butter and vitamin E for lasting comfort, plus nano pearl powder and licorice extract for a brighter, even-looking tone.
Choose Your Formula
- Cream · Autumn/Winter — Our richer NZ autumn/winter texture with neroli, petitgrain and sandalwood. Oil phase about 26%, ideal for cooler months and night use.
- Emulsion · Spring/Summer — A lighter lotion texture with the same neroli, petitgrain and sandalwood aroma.
- Emulsion · Lavender & Red Mandarin (Pregnancy) — A gentle, low-concentration essential-oil blend designed with pregnancy in mind.
Texture
- Cushiony — Dense and velvety, yet never heavy.
- Breathable — Absorbs cleanly without a greasy or suffocating feel.
- Glowing — Leaves skin soft, plump and radiant-looking.
How to Use
After toner and essence, warm a small amount between your fingertips and press gently over the face and neck. Best used at night; if using in the morning, follow with sunscreen. In warm weather, use a little less and layer over a hydrating toner.
Tips
Recommended for mature skin, early signs of ageing, dry autumn and winter skin, skin recovering after professional treatments, and a barrier that needs steadying. Not recommended during a flare of active breakouts, or for very oily skin in summer (use less).
