The Story
Helichrysum means 'golden sun' in Greek, after its bright yellow flowers. In French 'immortelle' means everlasting: the flowers keep their colour long after drying. Crush a leaf and it smells of curry, hence 'curry plant'. Even in poor soil and harsh conditions, as long as it has sun, it thrives.
